NYIGF OFFERS FREE "MARKET READINESS" SERIES FOR EXHIBITORS

WHITE PLAINS, NY, March 23, 2012... Beginning in April, a monthly series of free "Market Readiness" webinars - addressing marketing and selling strategies, tradeshow operations and lead follow-up - will be offered to New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®) exhibitors. Produced jointly by the NYIGF and Right Angle Strategies, the series includes four pre-show webinars, one post-show webinar, and free, 15-minute consultations during NYIGF.

GLM NAMES FALKENBERG VICE PRESIDENT/SHOW DIRECTOR, NEW YORK INTERNATIONAL GIFT FAIR

THE FIRST ANNUAL CHICAGO ANTIQUE JEWELRY & WATCH SHOW UNVEILS CELEBRITY GEMS AND LATEST TRENDS

CALENDAR BULLETIN: DATES & LOCATION CHANGE FOR LAUNCH OF ARTISAN RESOURCE AT NYIGF

WHITE PLAINS, NY, March 16, 2012… The dates and location have been changed for the summer 2012 debut of Artisan Resource, a first-of-its-kind artisan production-sourcing event for U.S.-based volume importers, direct import retailers and wholesalers. Artisan Resource will be held semi-annually alongside the New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®), with the first edition running Sunday, August 19, through Tuesday, August 21, at New York City's Passenger Ship Terminal Pier 92.

NYIGF ANNOUNCES NEW FIVE-DAY FORMAT BEGINNING IN SUMMER 2012

WHITE PLAINS, NY, February 28, 2012… Following a shift in traffic patterns and an exhibitor survey about market timing, the New York International Gift Fair® (NYIGF®) will adopt a new five-day format – opening Saturday and closing Wednesday (rather than Thursday) – beginning with the summer 2012 edition, Saturday, August 18, through Wednesday, August 22, at New York City's Jacob K. Javits Convention Center and Passenger Ship Terminal's Passenger Ship Terminal Piers 92 & 94.

THOUSANDS OF TREASURE HUNTERS FROM AROUND THE GLOBE HEADED TO THE 51st ANNUAL ORIGINAL MIAMI BEACH ANTIQUE SHOW
 
MIAMI, FL, February 21, 2012… U.S. Antique Shows, a major producer of antique shows in North America, announced today an increase of five percent in attendance at this year’s 51st annual Original Miami Beach Antique Show, which took place on February 2-6, 2012, at the Miami Beach Convention Center.
The Show attracted dealers from more than 22 different countries and attendees including international collectors, gallery owners, museum curators, interior designers and residents of the South Florida community.
