RICHARD PASTERNAK

Richard Pasternak is senior vice president and treasurer for GLM®, a dmg world media business.

Rich is responsible for all financial areas of the organization, including maintenance of accounts and financial records, as well as analysis and interpretation of statistical information relating to the operating effectiveness of the organization. Additionally, he oversees the Soiffer Haskin private sale division of GLM, which conducts 30 private sales annually for luxury goods manufacturers and retailers seeking to move excess inventory discreetly and profitably.

Rich, is a 1978 graduate of CUNY at Brooklyn, with a B.S. in Accounting. Prior to joining GLM in 1987, he worked for Parfums Jacomo Inc., a privately held company, and various public accounting firms.

Rich received his license as a Certified Public Accountant in 1981. He is currently a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA) and the New York State Society of Certified Public Accountants (NYSSCPA).

He currently resides in Briarcliff Manor, New York, with his wife, Robyn, and his two children, Melissa and Matthew.
