Post-Show Follow Up

1) Gather your personal receipts to complete your company expense report (Form E).

2) Sort through all of your notes and make a file for each exhibitor. Your copy of the order form and the vendor information form can go in this file, along with any other notes you may have.

3) Transfer information off of your product tracking form onto a calendar. This will allow you to not only see how much you spent, but also when everything will be delivered.

4) Never forget to share all of your information with your sales associates. The more educated they are on the products you purchased, the better they will be able to sell to your customers. Pass along all of your knowledge on the product: where it is made, what it is made of, why it is a fun, new trend, etc.

5) When your purchases are delivered:

• Examine boxes for obvious damage while the carrier agent (UPS or truck driver) is still present.

• Remark to him/her if box is dented or broken.

• Preferably, open the package while he/she is still there.

If you receive damaged or broken merchandise: SAVE ALL SHIPPING CARTONS AND PACKING MATERIAL. Call shipper for a Damage Report.
