Welcome as a New Buyer to GLM – the leading producer of consumer product trade shows for more than seventy-five years. We at GLM have put together the following guide in order to help you – the retailer – effectively prepare for one of our trade shows. Whether you are an experienced buyer or just starting your business, we hope you will find useful tips throughout.

There is no real secret to shopping trade shows – except for one key rule….preparation. As with anything, the key to success is to plan ahead and be ready. We have organized this guide with that rule in mind.

Here’s what you’ll find:

If you are planning to shop a GLM Show in the near future, be certain to attend our New Buyer Orientation seminar. These programs, which are usually presented on the opening day of the Show, offer information specific to your needs from veteran buyer and exhibitor presenters. You can register for the New Buyer Orientation through the Internet or through the mail. (To find when the New Buyer Orientation date and time is for the Show you are attending, use the drop down menu above to select the Show and enter the "Buyer Information" area to find current "Pre-Show Information." This will have a complete listing of all events and seminars as well as a registration form and instructions.)

You will also want to register in advance for the Show you are planning to attend. This will save time by avoiding long lines at check-in and the on-site registration fees that some Shows require.

GLM has Buyer Services Representatives in most areas of the country. We welcome you and invite you to visit us at the Shows.

WELCOME TO THE INDUSTRY and HAPPY RETAILING!
